Here are some pictures of Jaymeson (top left and right) and April. I had to include the close up of Jay, since it is so cute. He doesn't smile much, but it is adorable when he does!

Please Pray!
Hey everyone!
There are always lots of things to pray about. Here are some ones specific for the Kindergarteners.
First of all, a praise or two.
While this class has not yet bonded quite the way last years class did, they are all getting along very well with each other!
They are also very bright kids. I have had to alter some things, since I didn't need to teach them some things that other classes have had to work on at the beginning. Quite a few can already count well, although they need help with figuring out "which number comes next" if I just give them a number.
So those are some praises.
Right now, the big prayer request is for two of my students. April and Jaymeson. They have both missed quite a bit of school in a row, and April may have moved. April's mom, Cassandra, was working in my classroom to help out, but there has been no word on them since before Labor Day. Please pray that they show up.

Starting School "Write"
You've got to do a lot of things to get ready to write. It amazes me what things I take for granted about writing. Things that Kindergarteners have to really work at in order to write well. Things as simple as how to hold a pencil, or which direction to write in, are second nature to those of us who have been around a while. But these kids barely even have the right muscles ready to write! So we always do lots of activities at the beginning to get ready. Things like lots of color and playdough, finger exercises, even teaching the kids to snap their fingers works the muscles they need. Here are some pictures of the kids getting a little crazy with their 'dough, and other fun things.
Welcome to Kindergarten!!
We are the Kindergarten class of 2009 (Future Graduating Class of 2021!) at Immanuel Mission School. Welcome to our classroom! Check in here to find out what we are doing, how we are learning and how much we are growing. Have Fun!
